Final Cut Questionnaire Feedback

Below are the screenshots of the feedback from my short film questionnaire.
These responses are key to check I have achieved my ambition with the final short film and that the audience to enjoy and are engaged by the short film.

From my responses I feel I have achieved this.

Below the response is my evaluation of the findings.

This question evaluates a wide range of criteria to see if the audience feel that the film is of  professional quality. From the responses we can see that for all responses I have scored highly and that nearly all criteria is above the scale 6 (being 1 scale less than best). The only criteria that falls below this between a score of 4-6 is the acting, storyline and relate ability. This means that some viewers may have found that they didn't think the storyline or acting is as believable. This is not a huge problem as most of the audiences have rated them highly as the score is not massively low. To improve this in the future I would definitely tried to find better actors and not acted myself to make up numbers.

This question is a way of checking what the audience thinks of my main choices, this being the location, actors, storyline and editing. I asked the audience the question of them liking the locations used, actors used, storyline and onscreen text messages effect. They had a choice of answers whether they liked them, didn't like them or weren't sure. As you can see, over 80% of the audience surveyed said that they liked all of my choices. The only result that wasn't as sure is the actors used. But as mentioned, this is probably down to acting myself as a last minute decision and in the future, I would seek to find a better choice of actor. Although, I feel that my audience to agree with my decisions and overall enjoy the film meaning I have successfully met my target.

This set of questions helps to understand the audience more. The questions are split into the ways the characters could be similar to the audience. The audience may feel that the storyline of my short film does not relate to them. But straight away, they are proven wrong as my questions show that 100% of people asked, used a mobile phone and over 90% had called or texted a wrong number. This means my storyline is very appropriate and does face modern life and a typical experience or mistake alongside the very unpredictable twist of winning a trip to New York. I also ask how many people have received text or calls by mistake and my response shows that this is also a very likely occurrence. We also see that people enjoy the setting of New York and means its probably a good choice of using the location when I could. Not many have visited New York but as you can see, from my results, a lot of people would like to visit or re-visit New York not only because of the amazing footage in my film but also just for the experience. Lastly, I questioned peoples own experiences of relationships and having either a long distance relationship maybe because of work or school? But also the idea of leaving a partner behind to go away on holiday like my character does. My results show this is not uncommon and may take place in peoples lives. This means with all of my factors taken into account, I feel that my short film would, and does relate to the audiences and makes them feel like they can relate to its storyline and characters.
This question is very important as it finds out if the audience definitely did enjoy the film. If the audience has enjoyed the film, you would expect them to answer that they would watch it again. This is a very useful question in finding this out and shows I have successfully achieved this as 90% of my audience surveyed said they would watch it again.
